Begin your Panther journey
Welcome to the LC family! Now that you're a Panther, it's time to get more acquainted with the campus (and local) community, and to prepare for your LC journey. At New Student Orientation (NSO), you will meet faculty and staff, talk with an academic advisor about your class schedule, register for classes, learn more about LC support resources, and build relationships with your future classmates.
Whether you are an incoming first-year student, transfer student or dual enrollment student, we will provide answers to your questions so that you can confidently transition into this new journey. NSO is the first step of many during this transition, and the entire LaGrange College community is committed to ensuring your success from day one. We look forward to supporting you as you thrive as a new student and empower you to leave your own paw print on the Hill.
First-Year New Student Orientation is a mandatory program for all new students entering in the fall semester. The NSO program for first-year students is an overnight experience, where you will stay on campus, engage in campus activities, and meet your classmates! You will also register for classes and learn what it means to be an LC Panther.

The fee for first-year new student orientation is $150. The fee covers the student’s overnight stay in a residence hall, meals, orientation materials, two guests*, and most importantly, LC swag! Show your Panther Pride by wearing your swag when you return to campus in August during move-in.
*Two guests are included in the cost of the NSO fee. Additional guests are welcome and may be registered for an additional fee of $40 per person.
Guests stay off campus during orientation at one of our local hotels.
Transfer Student Orientation is a mandatory one-day program for all transfer students. This program centers the transfer student experience, empowering you to become engaged in the LC Community. During orientation, you will work with your major advisor to schedule courses, map your degree, and meet your new classmates. We look forward to welcoming you to campus, Panther!

The Orientation Fee for transfer students is $65.
The fee covers meals, orientation materials, one guest*, and LC swag provided during orientation. Additional guests are welcome and may be registered for an additional fee of $25 per person.
